FAQS

Everything you might be         wondering, answered with love

When should I book my trial?
I recommend booking your trial at the start of the year—think January to March—when things are a little quieter (and we’re all still pretending we’re sticking to our resolutions). I offer Mondays & Sundays morning and afternoon or pm slots, so you’ve got flexibility to find what works for you.

Can I add someone else on?
Absolutely! If your mum (or anyone else) wants to join the pampering, she’s more than welcome. I can adjust the quote to include her. I don’t charge extra for thick hair or extensions, and I don’t discount for shorter hair—it all evens out with everyone charged the same, making things super simple.

Do you just do up styles, or do you offer Hollywood waves and soft glam waves too?
Yes, yes, and yes! I do up styles and down styles, including soft glam waves and my signature Hollywood waves. Whether you’re feeling classic, romantic, or full-on glam, I’ve got your vibe covered.

How should I prepare my hair before the trial and the big day?
Come with clean, dry hair—nothing fancy. Use a clarifying shampoo to remove build-up for the best styling base. Skip the heavy oils or leave-in conditioners—I’ll blow-dry the right products into your hair for your texture.
If you’re embracing your natural curls, I can touch them up with just water and cream. If you’d like a different wave pattern, smooth your hair out with a paddle brush and blow-dryer. I’ve got all the frizz-fighting, anti-humidity magic ready for whatever weather the day throws at us.

How do payments work?
Most of my brides love spreading payments out—it’s less stress, more sparkle! Here’s how it works:
25% deposit to secure your booking

25% the week before your trial

50% two weeks before your wedding day

Easy, seamless, and all details will be sent to you via email.

What if someone drops out and there’s only 2 or 3 of us?
My minimum callout is for 3 people. As long as your group doesn’t go below that, the total price remains the same. That minimum helps cover travel and callout, and ensures the day runs smoothly for everyone.

Do you offer occasional hairstyling? When can I book?
Yes, I do! You can book in up to six weeks in advance for special occasions. I don’t take occasional bookings a year ahead because that time is usually reserved for bridal parties, and it wouldn’t make sense to block out a full day for one style when a full wedding could book in. Hope that makes sense!
If I’m working from the salon and have the space, I’m always happy to fit you in—just pop me a message.

Can my bridesmaids or mum have a trial too?
Yes, absolutely—they’re more than welcome to have their own trial. It’s a lovely way for everyone to feel confident and excited ahead of the big day.
That said, I really recommend booking their trial separately—either an hour before or after yours. I’ve seen so many brides try to please everyone else during their trial and lose sight of what they really want. Your trial should be a space for you, with no distractions or pressure. This way, everyone gets their moment to shine.
