Bridal Hair Trial Checklist

From your stylist (aka me!) to you — so you’re totally prepped and feeling fabulous before your big day.

☐ Book your trial during off-peak season (Jan–March)
This is a great time to book — things are calmer and there’s more flexibility for us to find the perfect date.
☐ Aim for 2–3 months before your wedding
This gives us plenty of time to perfect your look, and even fit in a second trial if you feel like switching things up.

☐ Let me know if you need to add or remove someone
Plans change — no stress! Just give me a heads-up 4–6 weeks out, and I’ll take care of the schedule.

☐ Wash your hair the night before or morning of (depending on your hair type)
Oily or fine hair? Wash it the morning of.

Normal to dry hair? Night before is usually best.

Don’t use any heavy products — just keep it clean and dry so we have a great base to work with.

☐ Wear a white or light-colored top
It helps us both visualize how your style will look with your dress — total game changer.

☐ Bring these to your trial:
☐ A few fave inspo pics (yes, even those deep saves from Pinterest!)
☐ Your veil or any hair accessories
☐ Earrings or clips you might wear
☐ A photo of your wedding dress — this helps me match the vibe perfectly

☐ Thinking about a downstyle or half-up?
Most of those dreamy styles you’ve seen on Insta or Pinterest use clip-in extensions for that extra volume and length.
If that’s the look you’re going for, I can colour match you and send a direct link so you can order with confidence — no guessing, no stress.

☐ Come ready to have fun and feel amazing
Your trial is a chance for us to create something special together — this is where it all starts! You’re going to look and feel incredible, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
With love
